Birdwatching

     Annika and I were on a birdwatching walk and I pointed out a mockingbird to her. Forgetting that at 2 she has no idea what Texas or a state is, I said, "Did you know that the mockingbird is the state bird of Texas? And our Texas state flower is the bluebonnet."
     Annika was confused and said, "Um, are we talking about Jesus?"  Then in a quiet, unsure voice she said, "Good job, Jesus..."
